The O-ring of the paper package adapter needs the application of a small amount of Apiezon T grease. A hole 15 mm by 25 mm needs to be bored in the paper container with a retractable knife.

Features This tool guides the nitrogen gas discharged from the main assembly of the gas barrier testing system into a PET bottle to fill the container with the pure nitrogen gas and then pass the gas through the bottle. The container is placed in the atmosphere. The tool is intended to place the container under the same conditions as measurement conditions and subject the container to preliminary conditioning concurrently with measurement.
Field of use * This tool is used to carry out preliminary conditioning at the same time as measurement producing the same partial-pressure difference as that of measurement, by guiding the nitrogen gas discharged from a gas barrier testing system into a PET bottle and passing the gas through the bottle. This reduces the measurement time required by the next sample.
